    Laal Maas

    A staple of the gallant Rajput clan, traditionally Laal Maas was made with wild game meat, such as boar or deer. The meat caught during hunting expeditions, was cooked in dry red chillies and whole spices and simmered in handis for hours. Since tomatoes were not native to Rajasthan, chillies and spices were all they used to cook this fiery dish. Beautiful brassware was then used to serve the meat to the kings.

    Laal Maas is a signature dish at our restaurants in Trident, Gurgaon and Trident, Jaipur.
