India Jones welcomes Chef Cheng and Chef Zhang to Trident, Nariman Point, Mumbai
In his quest to gamble and bring home gourmet secrets from across South East Asia, Bharat Joyent returns from Beijing with revered culinary masters from the land of Sichuan and Canton. Join in the celebrations to welcome Chef Guang Cheng and Chef Ying Zhang as they come home to India Jones, Trident, Nariman Point, Mumbai.
In keeping with his mission to bring home the most authentic dishes from across South East Asia, India Jones personally handpicked Chef Cheng and Chef Zhang for their in-depth knowledge of authentic Chinese cuisine, which is sure to delight every palate.
Chinese master, Chef Guang Cheng tosses classic Sichuan and Cantonese delicacies such as La Zi Kai, soy marinated, crisp fried chicken tossed with dry red pepper, Beijing Ya, aromatic roasted duck served with pancake. Ma Po To Fu, braised silken tofu in Szechwan sauce with shitake and asparagus. La Wei Lu Sui Lian Ou Ma Ti, stir fry of asparagus, lotus stem, water chestnut, carrot and chili in light garlic sauce.
Dim Sum expert Chef Ying Zhang showcases his flair for the art with Lo Han Jai Fan Gua, steamed, mushroom and vegetable dumpling in a translucent wrapping. Xian Xia Dai Zi Jiao, minced prawn and scallop wrap with young spinach. Ji Ruo Jiao, steamed chicken dumpling with sweet corn.
What’s more, both chefs will join the India Jones team to create innovative dishes and provide new offerings every month, ensuring that the menu always remains fresh and inspiring.
