New Season at Frangipani

Frangipani, the all-day dining Mediterranean restaurant at Trident, Nariman Point, Mumbai presents a new culinary selection of appetizers, soups, pizzas and pastas, along with seafood specialties and Indian preparations.

Begin with a Salad of soft shell crab with pickled watermelon rind and sweet chilli drizzle; or Char-grilled green asparagus with Chablis poached egg, bacon crisp and Hollandaise sauce. Soups include a Hearty baked potato and bacon and others. Indulge in Frangipani’s popular wood fired pizzas, including a Sour dough Margarita, with fresh sage, roast pork sausage and mozzarella.

The main course selection offers Wood-baked Sea Bass with stir-fried Swiss chard, roast pepper and calamari sauce; and Jambalaya style risotto with chorizo, Malabar shrimp, and ham. Choose from grills such as Confit pumpkin, fresh sage and feta polenta with creamed spinach and alio olio nage; Young spinach and haloumi-filled chicken with rosemary and pepper maple glaze; and New Zealand lamb chops, with lamb bolognaise, moussaka, goat cheese, and lamb jus reduction.

Savour authentic Indian preparations such as Punjabi kadhi served with crisp onion fritters; Bhuna Gosht, lamb cooked in browned onion and freshly ground spices; or Bay of Bengal Bekti, made with turmeric and spices, steam-wrapped in banana leaves, and mildly spiced with green chillies and home-ground mustard.

Complement these new flavours, with your choice of old favourites and traditional specialties, which remain on the a la carte menu.
